I've upgraded to a Dell Dimension 4550 Pentium 4 2.66 CPU

I started going through the optimization process and as I look in my device manager, I see there is a yellow bang on something called the SM BUS Controller. What is this? I've looked online and there is no releveant explanation of what this is or what it does, or even how to resolve the conflicts for it. I'm hoping somebody here can shed some light for me.
