yes krackato this is a good question.

slipstreaming is the process of integrating an os or other software app with updates and additional drivers and files.
it is a pia to get going but once you do it is the only way you will ever do it in the future
imagine poping in the xp cd and having it reinstall windows plus all of the latest patches and updates and all drivers "even the third party sata drivers".
imagine not having to rummage through stuff for the cd key every time

Huh. I basically do this only I do it with Acronis True Image. I just create an image after I've installed all my programs, all my updates, and if I ever have to roll back it only take like 10-12 minutes.
