It's the ram in the comptuer.... but what does RDIMM stand for?? registered DIMM?? And would it work if I just plug in normal pc133 ram into it?

Thanks

What board (or more specifically chipset) are you referring to?

There are a number of things that could be mis-stated as that:

DDR DIMM
RIMM

etc.

Give us more info.

yea there is the problem.............. i dunno what mobo/chipset it is. It is a computer at work, and I am trying to get more ram for this thing. I know that it is Dell Optiplex gx200, and i think i tried crucial.com to see what ram it takes but database in crucial doesn't have it.
I found the term RDIMM on some spec I found about this gx200 computer.

O and I know also that it is 168 pins.... or 92 pins (one side says 92.. but i dunno if it's both sides..)

i wouldnt go to crucial, go to dell. crucial does not carry certain dell parts. dell has a database you can use, its like ugrade your dell or something.

Compaq's are notororious for this problem. Sounds like a proprietary Compaq RIMM job to me. You probably need a stick of C0kk for the CPU.

hmmm.... psychoandy............. the one from your link doesn't look right... i don't think it'll even fit in the slot.. (the two holes are too far apart... when i pulled the ram out, i see that the two holes are closer and are around the middle of the ram stick)... the ones i found on this website seems to resemble the ones in the computer.... (even though the ones you found are supposed to work with gx200.)
