What is quality value RAM?

I'm looking for a 256 mb stick of PC3200 RAM. This isn't for serious gaming or anything, and it's on a seriously tight budget. What will give me the most "bang for my buck." Basically, what is the cheapest RAM without being complete sh*t.

Running it right now. Very nice memory. Haven't really pushed it too far on OCing as my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe board has issues when going over a certain FSB. Reports say that people have made it over 220FSB with this memory though.

Corsair Value Select, PDP systems, Kingston Value ram or Mushkin basic are all good choices for the budget minded buyers

I'm using Kingston Value RAM and no problems here. Do a lot of video and photo editing so I have 2 gigs installed. No fuss, no muss.

I've used Kingston, Crucial, and Patriot value RAM with no problems. The Patriot (bought on special at Outpost) was the best bang for the buck.

PDP Patriot RAM is very good. I'm using Kingston Value RAM right now. I've had good luck with MA Lab's/e-Wiz's SuperTalent brand as well.

If you see a "Superman" logo on a stick, stay away. That's remarked, remanufacturered Micron known as "Spectek." 🙂
