After you obtain Diamond status I hear you can see a secret post that contains a picture of jpeyton nibbling gently on Obama's balls. It's only a strong rumor that it's actually jpeyton, but the evidence is the Chi Guevara hoody and that he is cradling Obama's balls with his left hand. jpeyton refuses to use anything that is considered 'right.'
 
I actually read some of P&N today and it wasn't so bad compared to other times! Is there something wrong with me? 😱

probably doesn't seem as bad because there has recently been so much P&N sewage seeping into OT due to the upcoming election and economic troubles

The debates have been reducing the public demand for the media and the candidates to yack about rumors and character bullshit unless your name is Sarah Palin. It is still out there of course, but the spotlight has shifted on more real issues. Such shifts help the quality of P&N threads quite a bit. It is still a chaotic disaster no matter how you slice it though. 😉

The candidates are actually doing a decent job of focusing on the issues and not attacking each other.
They arent leaving much fodder for the angry regulars of P&N.

I remember in 2004 people were saying AWEFUL things in there. I seriously thought we would have another civil war.

A place where we used to have discussions, which were later replaced by partisan invective. It used to be cool, but I generally stay away these days. I know what I think, and know that nobody there is going to be influenced by my clear logic and lucid argument.

I believe P&N is a still-contested but mostly abandoned territory near the demilitarized zone. Derek led the People's Front of Anandtech into valiant battle, but the internet connection went down and a 3rd of the moderators joined the other side. Rumors persist that Dark Angel and her mutant gang live there, but how anyone could survive the radioactivity and cannibalism in P&N is beyond reason. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. pc game was loosely based on P&N.
