I refused to walk over sewer grates (even though gigantic ones that take up the entire sidewalk in NYC) until I was in my late teens.

Walking bridge beams at 12am in sub freezing weather, and stepping over the iron workers crap, and having sections that were lacking safety cable. Traffic underneath, and light plants blinding me. Fuck that. I can't do that crap like I used to.
