Hi ya'll

I have just returned from my holidays, where i was away from home for a month. When I came home and turned the computer on i got shocked. On a black screen, before the load of windows, after the sign " Verifying DMI Pool Data" such thing appears:
"NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart"

What's most surprising is that before I had left the computer worked just fine and through the month when I was away it wasn't even turned on once. What's wrong? I recon it's a hd problem but every cable is connected and the hd is seen in Bios. Did anyone have such a problem? Please, I appreciate any input!!!
