It depends on the buyer, is the person a noob or somebody who knows something.

The person is not a newb nor a hardware guru, kind of middle of the road. I'm just looking for a general price. I know what I paid, so should I look for 50% of that, or 75%, etc..

a good idea would be to build the same exact system u have on newegg then sell it for around that price

Does this include warranty, OS, tech support? Is he your friend too, that does matter. I would say around $500 or more cause some of the nice parts.

What you paid for it, might not be whats its worth today esp compared to deals to OEM manufactures.
