i want a better cpu and mobo
i by mistake bought a mobo with only single channel memory support!
so i definitely need a mobo upgrade
i was considering a G31 chipset but i'm not sure what its raid support is like

what should i get????

my budget is R2000

as you can see i'm partial to overclocking

this is my system
intel e2200 at 2.83 oc'd GHz
biostar tf-7150 nforce 630i board (was cheapest mATX board with oc features that i could find)
geforce 8800GT 512MB version
3x seagate 250GB HDDs in raid0
4GB DDR2-800 (2x2GB)

oh and it's for gaming
 
the ich10r is a nice raid chipset, i would recommend it. how does ASUS P5Q SE/R+ a e8400 processor sound?

it's about $30 over budget, but will give you pretty decent perfomance. and raid0, really?
 
that's a really good suggestion but i really want to stick to the budget!

yes, raid0 not at all worried about redundancy 🙂
