So I'm thinking about going on vacation in August/September, for about a week, to either Sweden, Finland, or Norway. I know nothing about these countries. Does anyone have any opinions/ideas about them? This will be my first vacation in about 4 years. Thanks a lot guys.

I would pick Norway for the scenery, but most things are very expensive there. Traveling in Sweden would not be as expensive.

I'd love to visit Stockholm. I have distant relatives in northern Sweden, my Mom has visited them twice. They don't speak English though so I'd have to learn some Swedish.

Sweden seems to have the most intact historical experience. They have largely avoided the more destructive wars of the past millennia, and so there are very many wonderful things to see.
