What is ` key called?

I'm not sure what you actually mean. Could you post the symbol so that we can be sure of what you're talking about?

That is it. Shift - ` is the tilde key (~), but is misdocumented in some gamer manuals.

Hey, at least you do not have a corporate culture that calls the * as 'splat' (or 'display') and @ as 'change'. That relates to airline dumb terminals (computer terminals as opposed to where airplanes stop to pickup passengers.) 'Splat' is at least creative. Does look like what happens after the bug meets the windshield.

Accent Grave for French use. In Spanish it is simply an accent. In Spanish text, it comes as a complete character, i.e,, é, á, ó, ú, í. All of these symbols are in general called diacriticals. Others used in Spanish are ñ, and ü.All of these accented characters have different ASCII codes.

Other diacriticals in other languages are ê, è, and ç. The tail on the c is called a cedilla.

To make these diacriticals on an English language keyboard, just use Microsoft's charmap feature - copy and paste. This has been around since Windows 3.0. 🙂

To do that, Start, Run, and type charmap - hit enter. It will pop up the chart for the font you are using.
