Let me tell you a story about the time there *was* a cop around while I was on the highway. I'm in the middle lane, doing about the speedlimit+5 in medium traffic. Everyone was just flowing along. All of a sudden, I see a Maxima flying at what had to be 85 or so in the right lane just blasting by everyone else. As he's doing this, a state trooper pulls on the highway *right* behind him. I mean there were no cars between him and the trooper, but the driver didn't notice the cop and kept the pedal down. So I'm waiting for it...cmon, where are the flashing lights? He HAS to nab this guy, he's doing 30 over the speed limit? Right? Right?


Maxima guy kept on going as the trooper just cruised along The one time there WAS a cop when I wished for it, he didn't lay the smack down...
