When you are talking about something relating to computers and they randomly say "I know how to hack". Sure buddy, sure. Why would anyone want to be a geek?

Is this just a Texas thing, because this isn't the fiirst time I have heard this.

I know, I was just thinking about this the other day. What would make someone want other people to think that he is a geek? I mean, I know this stupid soccer player kid that pretends that he's all fantas-tick with computers, and proceeds to cover his entire chip with thermal grease, including pins.

The best is when people think they are hackers but they've never coded once in their life (I mean REAL programming, not some for loops at high school) ;)

Oh and PSA: having CCNA and Network+ certs does not equate with being a leet network god :p
