I've noticed that people of most ethnic backgrounds like TNF. Out of those people, the percentage of Asians that own at least one piece of TNF appears to be greater than other demographics. Most modern Asians are brand-wh*** when it comes to something that is good quality and costs a bit of money (gucci, LV, etc.).

While we're at it, what's the deal with Asian women and hair dye? They're all lightening their hair color. I can't remember the last time I saw an Asian girl with naturally black hair.

Depends. A lot of younger ones are going light. 25 up are still mostly natural around these parts. Asians can suit auburn hair but the lighter it gets, the sillier they look.

I think it must have emerged from the Gyaru fashion style in Japan. Peaked in the early 80s but a few of the trends, including light hair remained. Then there's it's derivative, Ganguro, which is pretty much the white people version of black face.

Columbia used to be for young hipsters, but then it got too mainstream.
Mom was complaining she didnt have a nice, comfortable warm weather shirt, so I got her a Columbia pullover. Now she loves them.

Lately I've been rocking solid color hoodies with white lace string and levi jean's and black chuck taylor's. a lot of girl's have been mirin.

basically just see what those epic meal time guys are wearing and for some reason college chicks are really digging that look. maybe it's the bacon? who knows.

Canada Goose are like $500 a pop, but they are pretty damn nice with a real fur trim around the hood. VERY whored out in bigger Canadian cities (e.g. what are ther, like 4?), but they are nice.

That is because the clothes from those stores actually fit, most other stores design clothing for fatties. AE also fit well for asian body type, but they have the "I'm still in college" look.

If you make quality clothes that fit, asians will buy it.

Don't own a single TNF gear but I've heard good things about their Summit Series. Then again, I buy outdoor clothing for actual mountain activity usage.

Same trend can be said for Patagonia, which is a shame since their capilene stuff gets rave reviews.

Tis true... I only buy from JCrew now because Gap and BR stopped stocking XS in Canada. I'm actually an S (shoulders a bit tight), but I'd have to put on 50 pounds to pad my mid-section to fit an S.

FYI- J Crew makes clothing for slightly less fat fatties. There is no point in paying J Crew prices if it doesn't fit well.

You have to stick with stores that have Athletic/Vintage/Muscle fit. Try Express, H&M, United Colors of Benetton, and Zara.

Let me know if you find a brand of dress pants that actually fit well (machine wash only). The pants I've tried on either fit poorly or for some reason show off the crotch bulge too much.

For preppy casual clothing, A&F is where it's at! I don't like the flannel look that they sell right now, but I wear the white shirts from A&F (I think they stopped selling them). Hollister has gone with the High School look so I don't shop there anymore.

JCrew fits my body nearly perfectly, which looks GREAT, but having worn oversized shit my entire life, I miss the ability to dance and jumping jacks comfortably in my button up shirts.

What kind of dress pants you thinking of?

I'm VERY low key on pants (I refuse to pay over ~$50 for pants - they're just pants?), and have been pretty happy with Gap "dress" cotton and wool-blend pants. They're pretty light material, slim-ish and have good structure.

I use to shop H&M and their stuff did fit, but I've been noticing the shoddy quality more lately, and some of it's way too fashion forward for me. Speaking of, Gap has been sucking for over a year on the tops: shirts are uncomfortable (material), cut for fatties, and the designs are just "off".
