lol@u. you apparently never had Pocky. i made an entire thread for it not too long ago. it is still awesome now as it was more than 20 years ago

It's basically the only thing I've tried posted in this thread. It's plain as fuck.

Nothing prepares you for that time you get a nice clump of it by accident though.

That's why I don't use soy sauce nor wasabi when I eat sushi

I don't eat sashimi though so not a big loss.

Ebi Nigiri however, comes with wasabi. At least if you go to authentic Japanese places. Amount depeds on chef

My brother lives in Japan and whenever he visits brings some candy with him. Some of it is good but some of it sucks.

Yeah, they're nothing special. Just pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate. I do love how the Japanese have a "men's" Pocky, because I guess men love dark chocolate.

Onegai Teacher (and Onegai Twins I think... can't remember if it was feature there) cemented Pocky in my mind, had to try it for the first time a couple years ago.

My thoughts: Strawberry pocky is pretty good, regular chocolate is okay. Pirouettes are better than chocolate pocky, though.
