? - What is heavy metal ring thing comes with Chassis

Maybe this is silly, but I have no Idea what this heavy metal ring is for. No directions show its use. What is it?

It is called a ferrite ring or core. You put the LED wires and switch wires from the front panel thru the center, wrap around the rim and back thru the center again then connect them to the mobo. This is supposed to help keep them from picking up RFI. It has been explained here several times by me and probably more times by others. And most good builder's guides like the one at www.mechbgon.com should explain it. You don't see them very often any more.
