So i have the setup listed in my sig and here is the skinny...

I plug the card in and everything is going great, and then whilst installing drivers the machine turns off, restarts and when the display comes alive it shows me artifacts even before i get to windows. After talking to Leadtek i was recommended to only run one stick of RAM in my system to see if that would fix the problem.

And fix it it did... i was very happy that the card was running again but slightly saddened that i had to lose half my RAM to reach that point... but hey, its better than onboard...

For one reason or another i had to restart my computer... BAM problem was back. OK says I , so i unplugged it and ask my roommate if i can plug it into his computer to see if the problem persists. While i have the card out i get this weird idea to plug the 2 256 sticks of RAM back into the system and remove the 512 stick...

Restart the machine and it works...

I have since determined that if I turn off the computer, switch off the PSU, unplug the card , plug it back in, switch the PSU back on and restart the computer i can get it to work everytime without fail... however i only get one or two restarts before the artifacting comes back and have to repeat the process...

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this issue?
