I thought that FUBU was a black-owned firm and the idea was for black people to support black businesses. Who decides what's "in" or "out" anyways. I mean, Timberland boots aren't exactly a "black" firm, but they're very popular in the hip-hop community.
I didn't know that you had to be a certain color to wear clothes. Sheesh, I used to wear Team Haro and Vision Street Wear stuff a few years ago because it looked cool and suited my tastes. I had BMX friends, but I wasn't trying to be a "wannabe".
Russell Simmons hired a Korean-American kid to be head designer of his Phat Farm clothes. So? Some of the stuff looks pretty cool, though I wouldn't drop the $$$ on it.
Black, white, whatever. Be what you want and wear what you want and if someone looks at you funny, flip 'em off!
