the 7200 RPM drive... assuming that you are using the same harddrive it wouldn't matter what interface (ata100 or up including sata) you use... the drives just can't tranfer data that fast so you really just have a capability that goes unused...

From what I understand, ata133 is nothing more than a marketting ploy and not faster in real life than ata100.

ata/100 7200 is (should be, if the drive doesn't suck) faster.

ata/100 and ata/133 represent maximum transfer-speed of the controller.
when you're not using a raid 0 confuguration you won't see any speed-differences between equal drives on an ata/100 and on a ata/133 controller.

an 7200 drive has (should have) better seek-times and faster transferspeeds, as the time to read the same amount of data is shorter.

EDIT both drives don't max out the theoretical speed of either ata100 or ata133
