My favorite all time is the Antec 900.
My only beef with the Antec 900 was the hard drive attachments.
Need to magnetize the screws as they will drop often when trying to secure the hard drive into the bay.
Other than that it's an awesome case.
That's hard to say for me. I'm still fond of a huge modding project I made in 2007 with a 1995 Compaq ProLiant server case. 3.5" braked double-caster wheels! Flip-out PSU cage. Hot-swap bays. Bottom dual 140mm fan cage. And of course, the two, big aluminum handles that you would need, because it was heavy with five hard disks and so forth. Would've been great for an exotic water-cooling project, but a bit large for the living room.
For my air-cooling systems, I've consistently chosen HAF 922's and I have one black aluminum CM Stacker midtower. The HAFs do what I want them to do, but the Stacker still has considerable potential for future applications. And I told my brother, who gets that Stacker for the "loan" computer -- he's going to get something not as good when I build him a new system. I want it!
All of these cases had quick-release drive fittings, both 3.5" and 5.25. I don't miss the days when a person suffered the tedium of working with tiny, stubby screws.
