Last night consisted of:

Bai Jiu (nasty chinese liquor, kicks like a mule) chased with coke
TsingTao and Snow beer
Whiskey mixed with ice tea

The chinese love their liquor. There is literally a liquor/smoke store every 20 feet - just a little window to order from, and a bed in the back for who works there.

I just finished up a bottle of 4 Roses small batch--it was tasty!

So now I'm going to have a little Kentucky Gentleman and then switch to Sam's Summer Ale for the 3rd period of penguins/wings (assuming the bar has it of course). I love beer, but--disclaimer--I'm certainly not an aficionado (or a douche tbh), and the Sam's summer really hits the spot.

oh nice, I'm also a fan of the KY Bourbon Whiskey. But unfortunately, I don't have any in the house. I try to keep the liquor/beer to a minimun since we have two kids running around the house.

How was the Four Roses? That is one I've never tried.

Four Roses is delicious. I am really going to have find more small batch stuff. Absolutely delicious. I had never heard of it prior to a few weeks ago. The liquor store I...ahem...frequent re-did their shelfing/stock and they now have a boatload of small batch whiskey in addition to varieties they didn't carry before. Quite the pleasant surprise.

Also, I tend to drink everything but vodka, but good choice on the stoli. If I am buying vodka it's Stoli. I haven't had all of their flavored varieties, but the peach and blueberry are quite tasty. And of course, the original stoli would be my vodka of choice.
