What is everyone doing tonight?

Hmm, do some laundry, clean around the house a lil. Never done anything special on New Year's Eve, and today shall be no different.

I was debating whether to go out or stay home alone.

Seeing as how if I go out I will either have to drive drunk or ride in a car with a drunk driver, I think I will stay home.

Then again I could invite people over here, but then they'd only drive away drunk.

So I guess I'm alone.

Right now I'm copying 300 GB of lossless FLAC files to the latest build of my music jukebox. This time it's an X2 3800+. 1 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE.

Later, I'll probably just be lazy and watch a DVD. New Years doesn't get more rockin' than "The Double Life of Veronique" 🙂
 
Playing Silent Hunter 3 and watching football. The party I was supposed to go to tonight is cancelled because the hostess is sick, along with around half of the people that were supposed to go. :thumbsdown:

I can barely afford the beer, let alone a taxi. My buddies house is actually within walking distance, sort of, but if I went there I'd probably be drunk and lazy and want a ride from another drunk person.

This is my second failed New Years in a row.. last time I was in Victoria and the bars were charging ridiculous covers. I also got really sick off of a cigar after getting drunk too early and was puking when the ball dropped.

Next year will be good I tell you!!!
 
Meh, not doing anything either. New Years' just isn't fun anymore. I'll prolly be in bed by 10:30.
 
Going out to a sportsbar to meet some friends and watch their band. It's classic rock (i.e. zzzzzzz) so I might not stay until 12am. Will definitely be drinking there, and yes, I will drive home. It's ok though, because I'm a better driver drunk than most people sober!
 
Unfortunatly I've got the pager from work this weekend, so I'm staying home & Watching the Bears game.

I think Green Bay is pissed off or something, because they are kicking Chicago's ass so far.
