I'm wondering what ethernet cable is used for internet, theirs cat 5 and cat 6 je etc...

Where could I buy about 100ft of this for cheap? Is their a cable site? Thxs! 🙂

Cat XX is a classification of the type of wire. ie the amount of shielding and the bandwidth it can support. Cat 5e supports gigabit connections. Cat 6 is better quality maybe i think for outdoors(not sure). www.cablesforless.com sells cheap cable

cat5 would work fine. cat5e is cat 5 with tighter twists. cat6 replaces both, and should be what ppl use if they cared to use gigabit ethernet.

a cat5e patch cable from cablesforless.com would be what you want to get.
