I've uninstalled Avast and I've installed Malwarebytes just for the heck of it. I haven't tried gaming yet though. Crossing fingers.

So after day's of it working flawlessly, it just happened again in BF4.

After playing for about 30min this morning, I started to lag, I knew what was about to happen, everything basically goes 1fps, but doesn't crash or freeze completely.

Again, task manager say's 96% of my memory is in use. WTF is going on here???

I'll check it out. I'm beyond frustrated. I can't play more than 30min without having to reboot the computer and I lose all my game points.

Gonna try the 15.5 beta and see what happens.

If you truly are a BF4 nerd and for the entire BF series then you would want to find out how and what hardware they tested the game on then you get either the same or similar specs as they used testing the game in house.

I still prefer BF2 with the bot hack so I can fight off 200 bots.

I'm not "truly" a BF4 nerd. Besides, that is just the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard on a forum, that I need to buy the exact hardware the game was tested with.....for every one that comes out.....LOOOL, does that include the monitor they used too? Cause I have a 22" 1680x1050 and it surely wouldn't make any sense for me to go out and get a top of the line video card would it?

Anyways, back to Earth, I uninstalled the current driver and installed the 15.5 Beta and played for a few hours yesterday with no issues. Going to try again today.

I find it interesting that the latest beta drivers (May of this year) would be needed to play a game that is almost two years old on a card that is almost six years old. But I hope it helps.

Jealous AMD cards can last 6yrs, overclocked? LOL

It seems to have been happening since I installed Win8.1, so may be a 8.1 problem.
