I have some ideas, but I would like some opinions and reasons why certain ones are better than others.

Well here's the thing.

You don't need a great mobo to get great clocks from an E6600.

The best mobo right now overall for high FSB would be the P5B Deluxe or many of the P965 mobos, but since you don't need a high FSB to get a great OC out of the E6600, it doesn't matter as much.

The Intel Badaxe 2 does over 450 FSB now; it'd be a top contenter if money is no issue IMO.

Well, I'm hoping to OC to 3.6 ghz. Right now I have DDR2-1000 Crucial ram coming to my house.

What motherboard would I be most likely to hit 3.6ghz on?

The jury is still out concerning the 680i mobos. Some good OCs being done but they are still being tested by early buyers. The BIOSes still need some maturing. As for the 570 mobos? Definetely the BadAxe 2. 965s? I'm of the opinion they work better with the E6300/6400 than the E6600 but others may disagree.
