What is Counter-Strike???

I see many posts about how great this Counter-Strike game is. I have never heard of it but it sounds good. Could someone please tell me about this game and where I can get it. Thanks for your help.
 
It's what used to be fun when you could run around like playing paintball. Not only are you feel heavier in the game now but in these newer versions, bullet wounds are *bullet wounds*. Anyways, have fun with it. You got to have the game Half Life installed and CS is one of the popular mod games on it.

Well don't forget CS is going retail. jtbuzek, soon you'll be able to buy it. That way you won't need Halflife installed.

(btw, for those few of you that don't know, you'll still be able to download new versions for free just like you would any other update)
 
If you have half life, try the cs beta. The game is great. Not as much fun as it used to be, but fun none the less
