I have three credit cards... I only use one of them most of the time. It is around 13% APR
I got it reduced from 18%

anyone with APR lower than 13%?

My Amex Blue has been 8.99% since I've had it (early 2000 something). And was without much credit history. I used to see sub 10% all the time (fixed, not variable), haven't looked in a couple of years though.

My Visa Worldpoints is 7.99% and my AmEx is 7.99% also - both are from my bank though, so that might have something to do with it.

Best APR: Pay them off in full each month, so you can forget the APR.

I'm a 22 year old college student with debt up to my ears.

Chase just gave me a card that has 0% apr for a year and 8.99% after that.

FTW, I couldn't even tell you what my credit cards rates are because I pay them off each month.

That might not be the question, but it is the only answer worth giving.

My relatively uninformed opinion says that 10% or lower is a good APR for a cc.

I'm at 12.74% right now. Chase lowered it to 10% back in '05 at my request, but it crept back up. It was about 15% 3 years ago. It was originally a fixed rate card but they modified their agreement.

I have a Bank of America card at 5.9% and a Chase card at 7.9%. I have several other cards, but only use them when they have a 0% deal.

Otherwise... don't carry a balance on a credit card. Just plain stupid to pay 13% or anything for that matter. Hell most store have 12 months 0% financing on anything you need.
