What is "caddy" in SCSI terms?

A caddy is a removable case, similar to a jewel case that holds the cd. You simply insert and remove the caddy with disk instead of a tray sliding in and out. It is very nice in that if you have a number of them (I keep at least 50 on hand) You never have to touch the CD or worry about scratching them up. Just store them in their caddys.
