I got an XFX 7600GS and installed it on my dad's computer just to make sure it was working fine before sending in rebates.

I want to revert his eMachines T6528 back to it's integrated graphics (Nvidia 6100) and am wondering what is the best way to uninstall the 7600GS driver (I just overwrote the previous driver)?

- uninstall card and do nothing to current driver?
- roll back driver to previous one and just take out card?
- completely uninstall video driver in hardware manager and reinstall driver from eMachines website?

So I am not the only one who uses his dad's computer as a test rig

NVidia Forceware drivers are good will all their recent videocards and the 61xx integrated graphics.

So, there is no specific 7600GS driver.

Just remove the card from the PCI-E slot and the IG should work fine with the driver you installed...This is the first and safest course of action because you are not messing with drivers.

Of course you probably know that you should not have overwritten the previous driver, but uninstalled it before installing the newer driver.

If you have problems after removing the card, you will have to uninstall the current Forceware driver and reinstall the latest one from the e-machines web site.

I usually just do nothing to the driver and take the card out. I havent had a problem that way. Just make sure the IG is turned on in the bios.
