What is best M/B for Ocing PIII 700 (slot1)?

Currently using an Abit BE6 (original) that someone gave me but looking for the best board out for ocing my PIII700. I can get my 700 up to 1050 (150 fsb) but thats all my board will allow.


Any thoughts?

I have heard that the BE6-II is a good board.

Use the BF-6 - it is the logical upgrade for you as far as I know. That's what I did on my last machine ... though it has been a while ago, admittedly.

if you are air cooled you are getting a pretty good overclock imho already. I dont think there is much more to get.

The BE6 vII is a very good stable board for o/c, but the problem that will likely to occur would be the 440BX AGP divider will come under some stress over 100FSB, but the 1Mhz increments gives more flexibility than any other Slot 1 mobo i've tried or heard.
