What is best gaming card for AGP 4x slot?

No problem.

The ewiz site says it is 8x but the Sapphire product page linked above lists 4X/8X in two sections

edplayer is correct the fastest possible video card for that system is the 3850. If you can get one for a good price the go for it, I paid $130 for each of the ones I picked up.
 
If the slot only runs at 4x speed then I'm pretty sure all of these cards mentioned (3850, 3650, and even the 6800) are going to be bottlenecked by the bandwidth. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure even a 9700 Pro was bottlenecked by an AGP 4x slot.
