So I was helping my Grandmother calculate her BMI and thought it would be interesting to know the BMI distribution here.I haven't attached labels to the categories because there is some debate around what is obese, etc..

Formula:
BMI = (weight * 703) / [(height in inches)^2]

21.8 apparently, not that it means a thing. 6'1" 165 pounds.

6'2" 237 - 30.1

Considering the Governator when he was pumping iron was "Obese" on this scale, I don't put much merit in it.

24.5 here

Edit:
I was off an inch for my height on my first calculation. I'm 6'3.75" 200#

Haven't weighed myself for awhile, but I think it's around 24. (6'4", ~200 lb)

BMI is pretty useless though. I guess it's ok as a quick shorthand kind of thing, but you can't take it very seriously.

So you use steriods and have a very low body fat?

He must. He puts little merit into BMI and used Arnold as his rational.

Not exactly, but the point is if I had a BMI of "Normal Weight" I'd be 195, and when I was 195 people thought i looked like a stick-boy. BMI's junk.

(I'm 5'8 3/4", 138 lbs).

However, as a competitive athlete with low body fat (8%), I don't put a lot of stock in BMI.

BMI is fine for people that aren't particularly active. It falls apart when you're drinking nothing but protein shakes and pumping iron everyday. Possibly tossing some roids into the mix.

Why not use BF% which is accurate across the board.

No its only junk to those that are over weight and want to try and make them self feal better.

Oh and you example of the "Governator" was not very well thought of either as he had to have major heart surgery.

Because that requires mroe measurment and even then how you measure and what type of tool you use can give different numbers.
