What is an ideal dot pitch for a CRT

Along with a new computer I am also looking for a new CRT, but I am not really sure what an ideal dot pitch would be. I have read reviews about people complaining about them being both too big, .27 or too small at .20, any ideas?

Can anyone point me to a nice CRT for 200ish or less?

While LCD's are nice, they are still more then I would like to spend, so for now a CRT is what I want to stick with, since I can get a nice one for 200ish or less. Thanks. --James

0.28mm dot pitch is considered good.
0.25 dot pitch is great.

Anything more is even better, but sort of overkill. Your eye's can only tell the difference up to a certain point.

On average, your eyes can tell the difference down to about 0.08mm dot pitch, at a normal viewing distance of 18".

Good luck finding a monitor that approaches this.
