What is an adequate temp for my rig??

i have a pentium4 1.4. not overclocking.

cpu runs about 42-45C, system about 38-42 when idle.

when i play games cpu temp gets up to 62.

is this ok? or do i need to make some changes. i don't play games too often either. and i like my case nice and quiet, would prefer not to turn up hsf/fans. will having my temps this high be bad for my cpu and whatnot, or is it ok. thanks.

they made pentium 4's that slow? lol, 1.4 willy must CRAWL....

does it lock up or randomly re-boot ever? if no, temps are fine.

62 seems a bit high, sounds like in adequete case air flow... hot air builds up in the case and the heatsink doesn't work as well.... you gotta get the hot air out of the case.
