For me, It will probably be that I believe Anthropogenic Global Warming is exaggerated and is not a giant concern.

If your religious, this should be easy 😉

People who throw around terms like Anthropogenic Global Warming yet don't seem to grasp the distinction between "you're" and "your". 😉

Pretty much every old-school conservative viewpoint. AT is a cesspool of hand-holding liberalism.

Would that mean that conservatives are non hand holding isolated people?

At least they aren't in a cesspool. 😀

If people practiced abstinence, a LOT of problems would be avoided, and AIDS could be a much more minor issue.

God exists. And related to this, evolution and this multi-billion year old earth that just popped out of random "chance" is false.

Bush isn't to blame for every little thing that goes wrong in your life.

Obama sucks. But then so does McCain, though to a lesser degree.

Government controlled healthcare is not the answer.

Increasing taxes is not the answer and won't fix everything.

SUVs are not evil.

Guns are not evil.

I oppose gay "marriage" and the whole gay movement to force acceptance of their lifestyle upon me. If they want to be perverted, shame on them but it is their problem, but don't force me to like it, because I won't.

The AIDS problem has a lot more to do with stupid-sex than sex itself. If people would use protection, and be careful about their actions, THEN AIDS would be a much smaller issue. Eliminating sex completely is not going to happen.

Being gay isn't perverted, and it's not something that can be controlled. Your "GOD" made them gay, so what is so wrong with them? Remember, after all, "GOD" doesn't make mistakes.

Yep. That's part of the reaason I became Deist. Anyone who claims to "know" anything about God's will is IMO simply arrogant. Are you God? If not, you don't "know" shit.

According to the written christian fairy-tale, the devil is a nice respectable man, whereas god is a douche bag not worthy of anything but our contempt.

I have zero respect for countries, and I have negative respect for nationalists.

I don't believe in the "on a need to know basis" BS. Anything and everything our governments are doing should be revealed at all times.

Holding a belief that has zero evidence is not a theory, life-style, or opinion. Much less is it worthy of respect or tax breaks (see: religion). Also, since it's not a real opinion, it's open to any and all kind of verbal scrutiny and abuse. Deliberate ignorance is not a life-style, it's a life killer, and it's disgusting.

Holy shit, I've heard about you guys.

Anyway, I'm pro gay marriage... I think gay marriage should be mandatory.

Gay marriage is fine with me! I think gay people should get to be miserable and lose half their stuff like everybody else!!!

Does terminology bother you that much? I doubt that will happen.

I am anti-SUV, I also oppose religion (at least in government) and I'm for gay marriage. I'm also pro-choice but that seems to be a non-issue in politics today since our idiot in chief has made his causes largely moot with his ineptitude. I have zero interest in defending smoking in public places too which seems to be a hot button topic here.

I think of homosexuality as a birth defect, simple as that. Nearly all life forms that reproduce sexually feel compelled to mate with the opposite gender. That's the way it's "meant" to happen, according to nature. If you're born differently from the norm, that is considered a "birth defect." It doesn't mean you're a bad person, any differently than being born without an arm would make you somehow "immoral." Homosexuality involves sex, and so it's immediately a damn big issue.
Therefore, attacking homosexuality while having no problem with other birth defects is pretty darn stupid.

Global warming, maybe anthropogenic. We are digging up lots of ancient carbon, and releasing it into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide absorbs infrared radiation. The question is though, is it enough to make a difference?
Solution: Reduce production of other pollutants that are clearly toxic to humans and the rest of our environment, and carbon dioxide emissions will decline as well.

Incest - what's the big deal? Oh that's right, it involves sex so that's what makes it evil. Fine, don't have kids, or adopt. Now there's no chance of any increased risk of genetic anomalies, and no good argument against it.

Is anyone else here just using this as an opportunity to make a list of how to push other people's buttons?

/me runs off to start a new thread. "What is your favorite kind of Coke? Mine is Dr. Pepper."
