kami,

As julio said, it's not P&S. It's widescreen letterbox. No anamorphic, but not that big of a deal. It's a good transfer anyway.

Now the real travesty is that it's devoid of any special features whatsoever. I can't imagine how entertaining an SE of this disc would be--the deleted scenes and a Mike Judge commentary would be classic! I'd also like to see a "making of" featurette to see the actual exteriors they used (it was filmed mostly in Austin IIRC... I'd love to go pay homage to Initech).

I know there was a petition going around DVDTalk a while ago. But I wouldn't hold your breath for the SE. That is too good a movie to wait. Just break down and buy it already.

Glad I already own it on DVD, according to an e-mail invoice I paid a whopping $6.73 for Office Space DVD with free shipping

Not bad.

WTH! I've been misled...for a movie like this, letterbox is okay. Must buy it

I was lucky when I bought my copy from Walmart B&M because there were actually 2 discs in the box... So I printed a label for it and used one of the DVD style cases that AOL mailed me and VIOLA! 2 for the price of one and you can't tell em apart....hehe. :)

"If I'm lucky I'll get to show her my 'O-face'. Ohh! Ohh!...you know what I'm talkin' about....OHH!!"

Remember though...there are some bad parts to this movie...the C:\ when he's shutting down his Macintosh? Hehe...

It was great, some parts were too much. The rap music and hard language was too much. Hard language is okay but not as a language.

Milton is the guy with the stapler... " I said no salt.. no salt on the glass.. but there were big, huge grains of salt"..."I'll put strychnine in the guacamole"

Some of my favorites:

"For my money, I don't know if it gets any better than when he sings When a Man Loves a Woman "

"Sam.. Nagga.. nagga..nag.. not gonna work here anymore, so what does it matter"

"The pleasure.. all on this side of the table"

"Everything was fine until that no-talent ass clown started winning Grammys."

Hello My name is Danny and I used to be addicted to crack. But now I go door to door selling magazines. Please buy a magazine so I can stay off crack.

yeah, that letterbox edition won't cut it on my Panny Widescreen set! :( Are they coming out with an SE that has an Anamorphic transfer, or is it just a rumor? I really loved this movie!

I don't know what a TPS report is, but that movie rocked. You can NOT skip over the introduction sequence when they are stuck in traffic on the way to work. The guy that's singing the gangsta rap song and turns it down when a black man walked by was hilarious:)

TPS reports. That's simple, ToiletPaper Stock reports. You always have to know how much toiletpaper you have on hand. Cause if you don't you'll be using your hand... :)
