What is a safe voltage?

I am running a Abit Kt-7 Raid, and just got into this crazy overclocking craze. I got my 1 ghz to almost 1.1, but I am afraid it may fry or burn out. I am really new to this overclocking. I could use some pointers. I know that it can't go past the 1.85 v, but is that voltage safe? How can I get my gig higher. ANything will help. Thanks

The Voltage isn't that important (if not over 2V ). The resulting CPU temp is most important (and therefore cooling). In case of the Athlons it is somewhat trickier due to the lacking of a internal temp sensor. The external socket-sensor of the Abit KT is considered to be 10C under the real core temp, if I remember correctly.
The Athlon specification surely allows temps up to 70C, like the P3s/Cellys, but for stable operation the temp should not exceed 50C average (under full load, of course).

Perhaps some more Athlon-experienced guys out there can give you more precise hints...
