what is a safe max temp for 8800 gts

I was wondering what you guys thought would be a good safe maximum temp for a 8800gts at idle and under load.

I am starting to overclock the card and dont want to over heat the card and fry it.

try to keep load temps under 80c and you ll be fine.

ok cool thanks. I see my card going up to 77C with fan on 100%. Scared the crap out of me. my x1650pro never went above 44.

That's high for speed fan at 100%. I put mine at 80% when I game and the temp rarely goes over 65°C. I have a BFG GTS OC.
