Rachmaninov Piano Concertos 2 and 3
2 of the best ever written, IMO.
Gymnopedie No. 1 by Erik Satie
Most things by Chopin

George Winston - Walking in the Air (the whole Firest album is really good)
Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings
Debussy - Claire de Lune
Igor Stravisnky - Firebird Suite

A bunch more, I just don't know the names...

there is one by brahms...i was wondering if anyone knew what its called...i think symphony 2 movement 1....it involves a choral of heavenly singers...its hard to explain...maybe somebody knows?

anyone know this?

I love the beginning of "Hooked on Romance - Opus 3", track 4 I think. I love love love classical music, but I never know the names of the tunes that are in my head. Which sux cuz I can't download them either =( Or buy them if I wanted to for that matter.

I used to listen to a couple Hooked on Classics tapes I had from when I was very little. They mix all sorts of famous tunes together, and it's really a good mix I think. Some beautiful, emotional music there.

does anyone know if brahms symphony 1 movement 2 in c minor is the peice which involves a choral?..i heard it yesterday on the radio...it was under lenard bernstein and i think the naxos label but i cant seem to find it anywhere

Bach: Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor.

It's organ music, but can be played with the same effect on piano.

well, this may be trite, but Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries. Stirring. Plus fun to listen to while playing the germans on the Battle of Britain map in BF1942 😀

Wow, someone with a good classical background. Refreshing

Rachmaninov Piano Concerto 2.

My wife and I saw a performance of this piece years ago at the Hollywood Bowl with Andre Watts. She cried it moved her so much.
