I just recently acquired an older motherboard and I've been trying to locate the exact model of it. On the company's website, it indicates that "Normally the board's version is printed at the corner of PCB."

So my question is what is a PCB in order to help locate it on the motherboard. Any hints on what it should look like is much appreciated. Thanks!

PCB, means Printed Circuit Board I believe. Basically it is the motherboard. It is the green stuff you could say. And they are right, usually in between all the chips and transistors and other junk there is some writing, and somewhere it should have the model number and the revision #.

PCB = Printed Circuit Board. You would likely refer to the PCB as the motherboard itself.

Thanks guys. I wished it was a little section on the motherboard, like one of the corners :)

Oh well, gotta go through all the clutter and find the model numeber.
