Neary everything else on the internet. Try salon.com for a nice site of information, it has news items and original content, liberal orientation.

So you'd advise him to go from one biased slant to the next?? makes sense...or is it better/acceptable because it is leaning to the left, nice double standard.

No, you can't read too well. Right and left, and credible/not credible, biased/not biased, accurate/inaccurate, are not the same issue.

Salon has both 'neutral' linking to news feeds and some of the best original content on the internet.

IMO, while in theory 'right' and 'left' might be able to be equally accurate or inaccurate, the fact is that the right-wing sites are enormously less so than the liberal sites.

I've posted many in-depth examples of how that's so, such as random samplings of 'top 10 stories' from various sites. You haven't, and I suspect you can't be bothered with the facts.

You are clearly happy to ignore them and wallow in your complaining that the right-wing sites are just as accurate.

Why would you do something like Drudge? Joe Francis, of "Girls Gone Wild" seems a bit more exciting.

I never visit the site but out of curiosity I see the highlighted headline is:

"BIDEN GRILLED BY NEWS ANCHOR: IS OBAMA MARXIST?"

This sounds like a pretty insignificant but sensational attack to me. Sure you can argue that it's just a question and that he's just the messenger, but just giving this issue credence seems to show some bias.

Imagine it the other way around:

"PALIN GRILLED BY NEWS ANCHOR: IS MCCAIN A BIGOT?"
A reported asked that question of Biden, when a reporter asks McCain that question and everyone ignores it you might have a point.

I find the reaction to the question more telling than any answer Biden could have given... the news station has been "frozen out." Wow... so much for opposition. I wonder if (when) the news networks and network TV are "too big to fail" and the government acquires them, who will be writing the questions.

I predeict in 8 years or less we will have a reseurgence of the American Protective League... but not on the prowl for anit-American speech so much as anti-Liberal speech.

The site the is right-leaning, hell he just put up a link to a 3 month old yahoo poll showing McCain winning.

Do you have a problem with reading comprehension? I said I've been going to him for a year, so certainly any talk of Lewinsky isn't directed at me. I've even mentioned on AT before that drudge and P&N are my primary news sources.

He is biased to the right. He does, more than anything, enjoy pissing everyone off, but I'm really looking for as middle of the road news source as possible and he's not it.

No, i was directing it at the people who still think drudge is a gop shill. Many of them have not gotten over the lewinsky thing and will forever hate him for that.

There is no middle of the road news source - drudge is as close as it gets. He's as equal opportunity pisser-offer.

I doubt if many of us here knew about this until you brought it up.

But you won't put $10,000 into a bet on it, will you, to back your paranoid fantasies where you back the side with actual history of such abuse, and fantasize the ones who haven't, will?

Are you 12? Seriously - how can someone have a political discussion about Drudge without being educated on how he came to fame?

How in the hell can anyone have a serious discussion about Drudge in any capacity?

. . . it's an oxymoron - and it comes furnished.
