Is there a minimum amount you have to deposit and/or a minimum balance? Or a length of time you have to keep the account open?

Reverse that order. I cant think of anything worse than springing a bleeder from a recently punctured blood vessel in your arm while attempting to "kill a kitten".

Buahahahaha! Classic. for you :)

Work at a voting location. I did that for a couple years. You generally made ~$80/day (for 13 hours work). It is a long day and you can NOT leave the location, but much of the time you are doing nothing.

Find a marketing research group. I just did one today. I am pretty sure I cant say what the product they were wanting to find out is. But it was 90 minutes long and I got paid $75 on the spot. It was pretty fun and they had pretty good sandwiches and stuff. It was also pretty interesting to say the least.:p

if it just so happens to be snowing in your area(like in nyc over the weekend), you could do some shoveling. Get out in front of people's homes around 4:30-5, right before they get back from work. They'll be too tired to do anything. $15-20 a pop seems like a real good price to someone who doesn't have the time/effort to do it themselves.

on a side note though, that marketing research seems like a great idea neo. got any pointers as how to go about it? making some money on a slow weekend seems like a good idea.

I'm thinking those of you with a good college degree could probably hold classes for high sch or elementary sch kids?

Like extra lessons, and charge the parents for basically "high quality" babysitting :p

Over here where grades are everything (SIngapore), I used to make 150 in 2 hours for just teaching this kid math.
that's how good the rates are over here.

Hmm, maybe I should find another kid to teach on Saturday when my gf's at work still....

some of them there answers above were stupid.

Sure, you can make money playing cards, but saying "Poker, Nuff said" is 1 of the most retarded things I've ever heard.

And the marketting research things you gotta get on a list and they'll call you in like a year, it's not steady by a long shot or I'd be doing it full time :)

I'd say call a temp agency and try to get a data entry job for 12 an hour or so.
