What is a good version of the Vulgate of St. Jerome?

I'm starting to learn Latin, and am considering attempting to read parts of it by the end of this year.

That's not really true. There's the Biblia Sacra iuxta vulgatam versionem (an attempt to restore the vulgate to its original latin), the Bibliorum Sacrorum nova vulgata editio (currently used as official text by Roman Catholic church), and the Biblia Sacra iuxta Vulgatam Clementinam in print today (official from 16th century to 1970's). There was one version, but it's not sitting around to be copied.

:( So if I wanted to get as close to the original as possible, I would probably be best off looking for the Biblia Sacra Iuxta Vulgatum Versionem?
