What is a good tool that monitors CPU temperatures?

Speedfan, it will also tell you fan rpm (if it can) and give you a voltage readout from the PSU. It does other things too but i wouldnt recommend screwing with those, allround its a great program, real useful :)

As Soviet says, Speedfan is excellent. I use it to control the speed of my cpu and chipset fans. There are temperature and voltage monitoring tools too. Highly recommend it...

MBM5 was great... I still use it. But I think the maker stopped work on it a while back so it may not support newer systems. Been looking for a good replacement for when I build my next system.

I use mbm5 on my msi board with no problems. The cpu temp is always about 3 degrees cooler than core center is. MBM5 has some known issues with the dif boards though. Near as I can tell they do have a "fix" for it but I didn't look into what it all entailed.

MBM5 doesn't support my nF3 board, so it gives readings way off base, I use Speed Fan, which is within 2'C of BIOS

I used to use ASUS Probe (1 and 2)... now use Speedfan... although they used to give the same readings :)
