if i was you, i wouldnt buy a motherboard with built in audio (or video if they make it). in all the experiences ive had with it, it means irq and driver conflicts if you want to put in a sound or video card later. just my two cents
Yeah I was looking to build a really cheap Duron system for a friend, who won't need anything higher than a TNT2. I'd ask the same question as to a good motherboard with onboard sound/video/ maybe LAN card but it doesn't look like you're getting that many responses.
Mobos with the SIS730 and the VIA KM133(A) are just beginning to show up as reference boards. Check out Tomshardware, he just did a review of the reference designs. Production mobos shouldn't be too long.
McKeller, this is an old post and I'm not sure you care anymore, however if you live anywhere close to PC Club, they sell a MSI with a S3 Savage and built in audio, with LAN. Check it out. It's around 90-100 bucks
