topic says it all, I read that motherboard monitor is good. Does anyone know how it works and if it's accurate? Thanks for any help in advance

Alot of mobo have a apps on the driver cd that monitor temps like Asus Probe. Speed Fan 4.21 is supposed to good as well.

Depends on your CPU. <50 for Athlons and <60 for Pentiums.

Motherboard Monitor 5 is a great program to check a lot of things with, including your voltages, clock speeds, many different temps, etc. A bit confusing at first, but definately better than a lot of apps that come with the motherboard such as Corecenter or Asus Probe.
