With time I find some plastic surfaces can get oily from the hands, especially cell phones, mice, etc. What's a good product to use to clean these devices without damaging or leaving residu behind? I'm thinking water with vinegar or something, anything better?

Microfiber cloth generally does the trick. You might need to use a tad bit of water to get it damp, but they work pretty well without liquids.

I use the dishwasher. But, BE SURE TO USE THE GENTLE CYCLE!

That may work for your iPhonograph, but I think he meant the more modern stuff that you see on your moving-picture box.

Crap, is this similar to 'Light Soil' on the washing machine? Don't tell me I've been doing it wrong all this time...

I did hear a keyboard works in the dishwasher, is this actually true? What about a more advanced microsoft ergonomic keyboard, as opposed to a 10 buck one? I'm almost willing to try it, what's the worse that can happen?

Just make sure you throw it on the top shelf so it doesn't melt. Don't know what will happen with the keys tho.

Also, microfiber cloth as others have said.
