What is a good MP3 player computer program?

I guess inherent in your question is the answer.

My only beef would be the pause winamp has between cd tracks but I am sure that is a setting.

I don't know why anyone would want to use anything other then winamp.. always works great for me, small program, loads fast, lots of features and it customizable... has everything.

This is kind of picky, but WinAmp doesn't have *everything*. It doesn't decode MP3Pro. But since MP3Pro costs royalty dollars, and WinAmp is free, this isn't a complaint as such. It's an ANALysis.

Winamp does everything I need from an mp3 player. I used sonique a while back, but I like winamp better

i like winamp on my windows box but iTunes on my apple powerbook just blows it out of the water. nothing ive seen compares to iTunes. i wish there was something for the PC like iTunes.

I have never liked Winamp for some reason. I have tried it again several times but I have always gone back to Sonique. I am now trying Ashampoo and I am thinking about switching! It has a better playlist editor and it is pretty streamlined.

actually - it's a simple plugin - can be downloaded from Winamp.com - there's a good one & a bad one.
I just shut down my jukebox - or i'd tell you which one is the good one.

I'll tell you tomorrow though 😉

add some plugins for winamp and you can play everything (include movie files 😛 ) or if you doesnt satisfied enough... try Music Match Jukebox, its more comprehensive.
