What is a good deodorant that smells good lasts long?

Another one for Old Spice Pure Sport High Endurance.
have been using it for 12+ years. For me it lasts about 10 hours. I usually reapply when I get home after work. Have any of you noticed that if you apply it right after a showrr that it can burn a bit? I usually have to wait a few minutes.

But what I have found to also help is using a good quality soap/shampoo in the shower. I use Selsun Blue on my pits sometimes. Can't do it all the time as it can make the skin sensitive.

right guard sport has been my go-to forever. The roll-on solids seem to last longest...as long as you have armpit hair 😉
 
Tom's of Maine long lasting (blue container) mountain spring - all of the aluminum containing junk left a red rash, this one does not.

I haven't studied the details of human stink, but the companies want you to think it's bacteria that cause smell. Stop the bacteria, stop the smell. Dunno if that's true, but the unscented salt sticks I use work fine. so it has something to do with B or C.

Baking soda absorbs odors. Then you're supposed to vacuum it up.

If salt sticks work, how come the salt in perspiration doesn't work?

To suppress offensive body odor I apply a spritz of "ordinary" rubbing alcohol immediately after I dry off after a shower, the stuff they have stocked on shelves at pharmacies. I rub it across my arm pit vigorously for a couple of seconds with my other hand, then do the other arm pit. What bacteria and their feeding substrate that weren't removed in the shower will be hopefully neutralized by the alcohol. I try not to over do it because I figure the alcohol is somewhat toxic, enough is enough. I believe this retards offensive body odor until I take my next shower, reasonably so. Anyway, everyone has their own body odor. If they aren't too batchy it's not offensive, it can even be the opposite. I personally don't want to go around smelling like Old Spice, or whatever concoction might be for sale on a shelf.

That is an anti-perspirant. OP said specifically no anti-perspirants.

I use a speed stick deodorant by Mennens because I also get irritated by anti-perspirants.

If you're looking for absolute dryness, I'm not sure you can find better than Degree's Adrenaline series. They don't make a scent free variety however, as far as I know. I was put on a medication more than a year ago which reversed my previous never-a-sweaty-dude status. Fucking aggravating having to bring extra shirts to work with you, specially if it's a tie day. I found that most antiperspirants would last less than 2 hours. I get about half a day, maybe a bit more, without feeling sweaty wearing the Adrenaline stuff. Far and away the longest protection I've found after trying at least 8 or 9 different brands. I don't think the scents are necessarily bad, just like most products in the field maybe a bit too potent. If you're looking just for a deodorant, go with a salt crystal. Maybe try to cut down on the animal products in your diet too. Red meat, butter, milk...these things make us smell funky when we sweat.

been using it for years. they have a couple different kinds, they all smell really nice and the smell lasts a long time. i can usually smell it while i'm working out after i get off of work, and only putting it on in the morning like 10 hours earlier. keeps me super dry too, i never get wet pits.

I use this too, but it's definitely antiperspirant.
