what is a good credit card?

So I use my credit card so much, but I find that the platinum visa I have has no perks, and the other one, has useless "amazon reward points."

I think for me, something that is practical and useful is cash back....any body have any reccommendations on a card w/ good cash back, or useful rewards?

i happen to like paypal debit....1.5% cashback 🙂

not exactly a credit card, it's a debit card, but can be used as a mastercard

American Express Blue and Blue cash has been nothing but awesome. Plus, they'll double your warranties for up to a year on electronics, and most stuff you buy on it has a 90 day return policy through american express. My GF has the citibank card, that one's really good too, you can't go wrong with either.

rei - 1% cash back on non rei purchase, 10% back on rei purchases. btw, that's 1% back on EVERYTHING with no minimum monthly threshold or complicated set of rules - just 1% back on everything i buy.

the scary part is, last year i got ~$400 back - that means i spent $40K on the card!!!!

Citibank dividend platinum
AMEX green cashback <--my favorite because your not limited on cashback ($700 last year for me)
Chase Perfectcard

get the black credit cards that some companies offer. I hear they have some nice perks. Requirements may be a little steep however
